We’re pleased to announce that our very own Josh Beatty, Mindsalt’s Director of Strategic Planning and founder of the innovative energy monitoring company GreenerWay, will be presenting at IdeaFestival 09. Josh was asked to speak by the Young Professionals Association of Louisville as part of their Innovation Series.
Through his work with GreenerWay, Josh has become an expert in tracking and controlling energy consumption. He’ll be giving a presentation on the hidden economic costs of consumption. You might recognize some of the slides from an earlier presentation.
You can see Josh on Friday, Sept. 24 from 5:30 to 7:30 at the Kentucky Center for the Performing Arts in Todd Hall. (That’s right before Anthony Bourdain’s event for the lucky folks who scored tickets to that one.) Best of all, the event is free, so come on down and check it out.
For more information, visit YPAL’s website or the IdeaFestival website.

Our presentation is called “Eco-nomics: The hidden cost of everyday consumption”. It’s about uncovering the hidden economic and ecological effects of the products we consume on a daily basis. Vote for it now!
