The Garage Is Open

garage bar

After several months of blood, sweat, tears, and grease stains we are happy to reveal our latest branding project: garage bar. We can’t thank the crew at 21c enough for including us.

We’d like to offer some special thanks to Hound Dog Press for some beautiful coasters, Josh Minogue, Josh Merideth and Magnus Lindqvist for capturing the bar’s soul through the camera’s lens. Monica Mahoney for taking us back in time with her murals and Rueff Signs for our neon glowing, attention getting sign.

So consider this an invite for one and all to come down and experience some down-home-southern, just-plain-good food by Michael Paley.

Currently a website, soon to be a book, the Original Makers Club is a city guide to Louisville that hand picks businesses in an effort to bring you the best and most unique experiences that the city has to offer.

Be sure to check out the frequently updated blog for inspiring posts on fashion, design, food, and more.

Perfect Evening

May I suggest a perfect Friday evening for two?
Dinner at Red Hog Tapas followed by a movie at the Baxter.

Recommendations – Food: Egg, House Cured Bacon, Arugula Pizza with a red wine, then the Woody Allen flick ‘Midnight in Paris’ at Baxter Avenue Filmworks.

GIANTS Art Show

Forest Giant, a digital agency in our office building, is having an art show this Saturday, July 23, to celebrate their one year anniversary. Each of the 30 artists taking part in the show was charged with the task of creating a piece that is their interpretation of a forest giant. The show is free to the public and all of the pieces are for sale, with the proceeds going directly to the artists. Sounds like a pretty good reason to visit Butchertown this weekend if you ask us.

Here are the details -
