mindsalt pays a visit to Hounddog Press
Thanks to the guys from Hounddog Press for letting us drop in for a visit this week. We got the whole gang together and traded some pizza and beer for a lesson in letterpress. They showed us some of the amazing work they have done and their antique equipment. We suggest you stop in and check it out, as well.
No commentsWoodland Farm is on the Web

We have written about Woodland Farm in the past, here, when we helped harvest ramps. Now, mindsalt has brought Woodland Farm to the web.
Woodland Farm is located in Goshen, Kentucky, just outside of Louisville. The 1,000 acre property is filled with bison, pigs, fruit orchards, vegetable gardens and, somewhat unexpectedly, a large collection of contemporary art.
You can check the weather at the farm (the information is gathered from the Kentucky Mesonet weather station at the farm), or read about the livestock and crops. Be sure to check out the ever-growing gallery of images from the farm. You can also read the blog, which is updated by people who live and work on the farm.
I could go on, or you could just visit the website and see for yourself.
No commentsDonation to Story Exchange
mindsalt just donated to WFPL’s Story Exchange to fund a story on local food. Here is a link to make a donation yourself.
No commentsLimbwalker Tree Service
We love all of our clients, but Limbwalker Tree Service is the only client who has given us an extensive education on trees. I am pretty sure we learn something new about Emerald Ash Borer beetles and organic compost tea at every meeting, and we couldn’t be happier about it.
A few weeks ago, we got the Limbwalker guys out of the trees and in front of the camera for a photo shoot. We used some of these photos to create a new ad campaign that profiles the Limbwalker employees’ knowledge of and love for trees. While this may have been new territory for them, they handled it like pros and we just had to share the results.
