mindsalt Visits Land of Tomorrow Gallery

After working with Land of Tomorrow (LOT) for almost a year, the mindsalt crew finally got together and made a trip to the LOT gallery to see the opening of a new exhibition. In conjunction with artwithoutwalls and the University of Kentucky Department of Art, LOT is showing Shih Chieh Huang’s Luminosity now through October 23rd.

Huang takes everyday objects and reinvents them into electro-mechanical creations that could almost be mistaken for living, breathing, brightly glowing deep sea creatures. This installation, along with LOT’s other installations, is definitely worth a trip downtown. Click here to see what else is currently on display at LOT and be sure to check back often, because they are always changing things up.

They also have a daily newsletter (designed by mindsalt!) with informative articles and a calendar of food-related events during the week ahead.
