Word of the Day

You may remember a couple of weeks ago we posted about the vintage (okay, old) metal letters Mike has been finding by the railroad tracks behind our building. Well, naturally, it is now time to play the Mindsalt “Word of the Day” game. Every day this week we’ll be posting a different word, brought to you in the form of long discarded scraps of metal. Some may require more imagination than others…enjoy!

New year. New bubble wrap calendar.

What better way to mark the passing of each new day then with the loud, alarming pop of bubble wrap? I can’t think of a single thing.

This calendar came to us straight from Brooklyn. It is clean, simple and quite entertaining. Visit BubbleCalendar.com to get one for yourself and see if you can restrain yourself from popping all of the bubbles in the first week.

Found

Mike takes JoJo (our office mascot) on his daily walks by the railroad tracks behind our building.  He returned to the office one afternoon with an old, rusty piece of metal that vaguely resembled a letter of the alphabet. Vaguely. After spotting one, they started popping up everywhere and we have acquired quite the collection. Minus the possibility of a bout of tetanus, they are some pretty interesting finds. Take a look…
